Extraordinaria Medal Bolivia-Colombia-Ecuador-Peru-Venezuela, dedicated to the bicentennial of the birth of the Gran Mariscal de Ayacucho Antonio José de Sucre.
occasion of the commemoration of the Two Hundred Years of Birth of the Gran Mariscal de Ayacucho Antonio José de Sucre in 1995, the Central Banks of Bolivia, Colombia, Ecuador, Peru and Venezuela decided to hold a joint tribute by mint a gold medal and a silver was an officer in the five Andean countries Bolivarian. To achieve it met in Caracas early 1995, representatives of the five central banks, which created joint resolutions for such officers have official medals in their respective countries.

The obverse of the medal bearing the effigy of Antonio José de Sucre in military uniform layer and the legend "Bicentenary of the Birth of Marshal Antonio Jose de Sucre 1795-1995."
The reverse shows the national emblem of Bolivia, Colombia, Ecuador, Peru and Venezuela, the phrase "I want peace because they need people," signature of Marshal and technical specifications of the coin "gold (or SILVER) LAW 900. 31.10 g "

addition to this joint effort with the other Andean countries, Central Bank of Venezuela decided to mint a coin of Bs 500 with an ounce of silver and 35 mm in diameter and one-half ounce gold and 27 mm in diameter, which have the same obverse of the medals and back with the shield of Venezuela, becoming the only Venezuelan Bicentennial of a hero commemorated with four species of currency.
